DreamGF.ai: the entry price is once — then it gets expensive

DreamGF.ai is an AI companion product operated by DreamAI SRL in Bucharest; the header links sister products, including DreamBF.ai for the male-oriented variant.

This site is a special case for an uncomfortable reason: the vendor publishes two conflicting price lists, plus a fee that sits outside the price list and only bites after a purchase.

The free trial exists — nobody numbers it

The homepage advertises a free trial; the membership policy confirms a trial phase before purchase. What that phase allows is nowhere: no message count, no image count, no duration.

Only two limits are clearly published: the referral programme is for paying users, and tokens can only be bought as a paying member. The free path is therefore cut off from both mechanics that otherwise top up credit. Whether payment details are required for the trial is also unstated — so we claim neither yes nor no.

Two price lists on the same website

The pricing page names three plans, each with a lower first payment and a higher renewal. “3-Month Membership”: first 12.99 $, then 25.99 $ per month. “Monthly Membership”: first 29.97 $, then 77.97 $ every three months. “Annual Membership”: first 69.99 $, then 311.88 $ per year. Marketing claims up to 75 % off — that applies only to the first charge.

The labels are obviously swapped: the plan named “3-Month” renews monthly; the one named “Monthly” renews every three months. We reprint that uncorrected; at checkout the billing rhythm matters, not the label.

The homepage also shows a completely different ladder: Bronze 9.99 $, Silver 19.99 $, Gold 49.99 $, Diamond 99.99 $ per month. None of those appear on the pricing page. Both lists are vendor-published; the homepage ladder looks stale.

Tokens: what still costs after the subscription

Each plan includes 100 tokens per month. Messages are unlimited for paying members; everything else spends tokens: create a character 20 tokens, an image 10, a voice message 3, a voice call 7 per minute. That allotment covers 10 images or about 14 call minutes per month.

Extra packs cost between 2.99 $ and 179.99 $; intermediate tiers are not published. Per the pricing page, the stored card is charged automatically when you click a pack; a confirm step is not mentioned. Credit without cash comes only from the daily bonus, which rises from 10 messages on day one to 50 on day 40 and resets to 10 if a day is skipped.

The fee that keeps running after purchase

The most important sentence on this page is not on the price list but in the membership policy: the vendor reserves a maintenance fee of 1.99 $ per month to keep accounts “active and operational.” It applies only to users who have bought something once.

That changes what “cancel anytime” means. Cancelling ends the subscription; the account fee is separate, and per the policy, deleting the account is the way to avoid it. Cancel and delete are two steps here, not one.

What the vendor refuses

The product is for adults and advertises explicit content. The blocked-content policy still draws hard lines: child sexual abuse material, illegal content, privacy and copyright violations, impersonation of real people, hate speech, terrorism. AI outputs that could look underage are removed; trying to coax the model into a banned output can cost the account. UK users now need age verification.

No German UI, and discretion only as a claim

The site is English-only: no hreflang alternatives, German URL variants return an empty catch page, and the roadmap lists multilingual support as planned — Spanish and Japanese are named; German is not even an intention.

On billing, the vendor advertises “100 % privacy” and that adult transactions will not show on the bank statement. That is a vendor claim, not a checked fact — we did not see a statement. Launch year stays open: the roadmap dates the start to January 2024, the membership policy to June 2023, and the blog publishes 2023 posts. We therefore list no founding year.
