JOI AI: the vendor publishes no price at all — what that means for you
Paid recommendation. If you subscribe through a link on this page, we receive a commission from the provider. Your price does not change, and neither do the figures here: each has a linked source and retrieval date.

On the JOI AI app the most important figure is the one that is missing. The service sells a Premium plan, a second currency called Neurons, and top-up bot plans for single characters — and publishes an amount for none of them. Neither the site nor the terms show a price or even a currency.
That is not an oversight: the terms say prices vary by region, term, chosen character, and live promotions. What you pay, you learn only at checkout.
What free “Basic” allows
The free tier is Basic and the terms only call it “limited access”, with no list. The only hard figure sits in help: free accounts get six image generations for the whole account — not per month, once. Results are kept seven days, then deleted.
Images with a specific character do not count against that pool; they bill Neurons. Free covers only freeform image prompts. Basic is also the state a paid account falls into if a payment is seven days overdue. No text limit for Basic is published.
Neurons: where the real costs sit
Neurons cover what Premium does not. The terms say so plainly: romantic, erotic, and explicit messages, visual content, and adult scenarios run on Neurons, not the plan.
Spend rates are published; prices are not. Reading a romantic message costs four Neurons; a photo view up to 120; a video view up to 1900. Packs sell in 500, 2000, and 10,000 sizes; larger packs, per help, have a better unit price.
A 500-Neuron pack thus covers four top-tier photo views or 125 read messages — our conversion from published rates. What it costs, the vendor does not say. Subscribers also get a monthly credit whose leftovers roll; how large it is is also unstated.
What Premium actually is
Premium is the only named paid tier. Terms: 1, 3, and 12 months, billed on auto-renew. Premium is also the entry ticket for bot plans — separate subscriptions for single characters whose access pauses when Premium ends. Those have no published price either.
Features: text chat, voice, video calls where available, plus image and video generators; the image generator cites 500+ base figures. A total companion count is not published.
What the service refuses
The safety policy lists 18 banned topic fields. Beside the expected categories — minors, exploitation, zoophilia, incitement — sit political opinions, religious and spiritual beliefs, and medical and financial advice. Want to talk politics or a drug with a character and you hit the same block as the hard categories.
Enforcement uses an extra classification model that checks every message both ways; help admits the filter misfires more often than the vendor likes.
Two vendor clarifications: all adult content is fully AI-generated — no real-act footage, no webcam/streaming, no meeting brokerage. And use is expressly non-commercial.
Sign-up, age checks, billing
Sign-up asks for first name, gender, and email; Google login is available. A card is due only when buying Premium — card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or crypto where available. Minimum age is 18.
Age checks run through an external vendor and can go past email confirm: address background checks, face-age estimates, up to official ID, by region. The vendor says it does not store document copies — not checkable from outside.
On statements the charge appears as joi.com per the vendor; crypto avoids that line. Use also opts you into promo email for other operator products, and the documents we read name no company. No native app: browser only. Access from the UK is blocked; the vendor points to local age-verification duty.
Cancel and delete
Disclosure is thinnest here. A documented in-account path to end the plan or delete the account is not in the documents we read. Only the reverse automation is described: if a payment is seven days late, the account drops to “Basic”.
What happens to leftover Neurons is also unstated; only bot plans are regulated, and they pause when Premium ends. Anyone who wants control of the charge has one reliable lever — the payment source.
How this page was made
We did not subscribe to JOI AI and do not claim otherwise. Every item comes from a public vendor source — terms, safety policy, privacy, help, and generator product pages — linked below at the URL we read on 3 September 2026.
With this vendor the boundary matters most: where no price is published, we invent none. We do not estimate and we do not lift forum figures. The only own conversion is Neuron pack → photo views and read messages, and the text flags it as such.
